This piece was an absolute joy to paint, Terri was an easy choice for her community, Terri dedicated 30 years teaching, battled breast cancer and won when she was a single parent at age 30. Every October after that she would dye her hair pink. Terri was also the volleyball coach and would often spend her own income to make sure all of her players had the proper equipment. In 2002 she was nominated by her students and carried the olympic torch in Salt Lake City.
